Fur the Love of Paws specialises in small, carefully managed group dog walks, with solo walks available where required.  I also offer puppy visits, cat visits and pop in visits.  As a licensed home boarder, I provide home boarding in my own home exclusively for dogs who are already part of my regular dog walking family.

Fur the Love of Paws offers an initial face-to-face consultation to get to know your dog, their personality and individual needs.  It also gives you the opportunity to meet me, ask any questions and find out more about how my dog walking services work.

We will go through your dog's health information, vet details, and any behavioural quirks before arranging a solo trial walk.  This allows me to get to know your dog properly and, for dogs joining my group walks, helps me choose the group they will be happiest and best suited to.

Group walks are kept small, with a maximum of six dogs.  Dogs are carefully matched based on size, age, personality and suitability, helping to create a safe, balanced and enjoyable group walking experience.  I also offer solo dog walks where a dog is better suited to one-to-one walking.

Our group dog walks take place in a variety of outdoor locations across South Edinburgh, including local parks, woodland walks, hills and other safe open spaces.  I like to give the dogs plenty of variety, new smells and opportunities to explore, helping to keep walks fun, enriching and stimulating.

Fur the Love of Paws specialises in small to medium-sized dogs. Suitability for group walks is considered individually, taking into account each dogs size, temperament and needs.  If you're unsure whether your dog would be a good fit, please feel free to get in touch.

We walk in all weathers - it's Edinburgh after all!  I'll always do my best to clean and dry your dog off after their walk.  I kindly ask clients leave out a towel and, where needed, a suitable jacket for their dog.
